Tarifa Continued...

DAY 20
(Viva España World Champions!)

This morning Franz and Rob took the smaller R.V. to the mechanic because the engine light has been on for a while. Rest of the Gang mostly slept in and those, who didn't visit this wind capital of south western Europe yet, walked around the new town a bit. At around noon the team gathered near the hotel and we all jumped in the Rabbit Mobiles and headed to the spot passing by on our way through our Dealership here in Tarifa, KTS Kiteshop on a main street. Daniele and his great guys are the old local crew here that very professionally take care of many kiters that visit or live here in Tarifa.

Today we decided to organize two seperate sites so we could cover some bigger range of this super long Tarifa beach. Rabbit kites gladly witnessed a steady and numerous flow of people through both our stations, people who were leaving us with happy huge smiles on their faces after their first ever Rabbit demos, made us super stoked. We've made friends with many great guys and girls here in Tarifa beach. Aquaarius, Aquaariuus.

Toward the end of the day the Rabbit Gang wanted to organize a jam session but Iberian spirit doesn't like the competition that much (neither Portuguese or Spanish guys :)) and so here in Tarifa we ended up with organizing a maniana contest. Maniana in free translation stands for the never ending here "a story of tomorrow". Spanish guys take their life in a mellow way letting many things wait for the future, however this sometimes is a bit frustrating for us outsiders, but in the end for sure makes them stress way less then at least our rest of the world do and this maybe make them live bit longer?!
So as the result, in order to take good care of the future we ended up awarding the youngest and same time cool and smart boy, Josh. He is an ex-pat kid who like many others here moved to Tarifa for good from many different places. Amazing culture of this town is made by friendly mix of those wind oriented people with locals living here from many generations. All those today-Tarifians love sun and water and live in respect to each other, which reminds us of our home - Hawaii. Josh, who like many our new friends want to visit Sandwich Islands, won the Blunt board. We were so happy to see magic sparkles in his eyes. T-shirts ended up on the most loyal rest of all Rabbit station guests, those all-day-amigos who enjoyed our demo-party with nice music from the speaker in the background. Nice day it was.

The dinner bell is ringing so we have to run. Afterward we will be at the party so will write to you little later, but easy, tomorrow we will report on how those events ended. Of course, within what we would be able to disclose, hehe.
Aloha!
