Serious session(s) in Brighton

DAY 32
Today in the morning the Gang was woke up by Mike who was leaving the tour in order to go back to the Rabbit Head Quarters. After some friendly handshakes and same friendly gang-face-smacks the door was shut and a short nap followed as the upcoming day was planned to be long. Once we all woke up for good we headed towards the Lancing Beach in Brighton to check out the conditions as the forecast was predicting some good wind for today. Once we arrived we discovered, unique for us, super long and wide beach, which instead od being sandy is covered in avocado size stones for miles and when the waves break it makes a real cool sound. Walking barefoot is a bit of a challenge but is possible. Morning was without wind and so we organized a warm up soccer game on some sand spot. Couple local guys joined us and amongst them our great old friend Aaron Handlow, who lives here in Brighton when he is in England.

After this fun football session wind still didn't pick up and so we jumped to the vans and headed to visit the Brighton branch of S2AS kitesurfing store. Angelo our friend from Poole was already waiting for us there and after we met his local crew and spent some time with them we went to visit Kiteworld Magazine Head Quarters, to meet up with Rob, Jim and the staff. The place is awesome with bar, billiards and darts, tons of kite history on the walls and great friendly working atmosphere. After this totally fun visit we headed back to the beach where the wind was slowly picking up. We made a huge Demo day with tons of Rabbits and all our new boards being tested. There was so many people that our cameraman Shady Shade had to run around and help customers instead of making pictures. Crazy.

Once the demo was over we had some time to finally ride a bit. The wind was still very nice and strong. It was a superb session with pretty much only us on the water.  Well not only us, because we got to ride together with Aaron who really was  ripping, even though he just flew in from N.Y. only yesterday. It was a super fun session with lots of good vibe between the kites!

Tomorrow we leave England. It was definitely great 5 days of fun and we will miss this big island as people over here have lots of life. Sometimes they are very sharp to strangers like us, but they are because they have tons of energy inside. Brits are good guys cause they are real and sincere, and they live like there is no tomorrow, at least on weekends! ;)
