Road to Bordoux - Bye bye Bert!

DAY 24
In the straight line the tour section between Valencia and Bordeux looks not too long, but in the reality it is not, as between Spain and France there are Pyrenees, beautiful but high and steep mountains. In order to cross them we had to go through Barcelona and Perpignon.

At the planned stop in McDonalds for lunch, Lou, Franz and Ben headed to nearby town of Carcassone to get Ben's replacement
passport and credit card that he misplaced the first day of the tour. It's funny but although Europe has better coffee and some things than the U.S. the Ketchup here sucks donkey dick compared to Heinz Ketchup back home. Also in The U.S.
fast food is food served fast. Here in Europe they haven`t mastered that aspect just yet, which maybe in the end is better.

200 kilometers before our destination we dropped out Bertrand who ended the tour in his parents` hometown of Toulouse in order to depart to Indonesia next week.
We will definitely miss his presence with us and are super happy for the time we spent on this trip together.
As a fact we just passed half way of the tour and especially after Iberia we are quite tired and so today inside of our travelling homes couple Rabbits were a bit too sharp between each other but when Bert was leaving us we all came out in the good bro moods and shake hands like real gents.

By the evening we reached Hourtin, a lovely small ocean town close to Bordeux. This is where we have the planned event and so in this town we lodged in the nice but very calm, comparing to Spanish, camping site - the French version of The Wild West – Le Village Western,  with lots of cowboys and Indians around! Crazy!
The temperatures around here are way lower than in Spain but it is still nice and warm, of course. It will be nice 2 days off for some rest before we go to UK on Thursday.
And yes the Bordeux that we are nearby now is this city famous for its wine.
