Road to Belgium - hurry up and wait
DAY 33
I woke up to the gang jumping in the RV and high tailing it out of the hotel parking lot, across the grass on to the highway. Chris was at the helm driving like Mario not so ready. Franz was half dead asleep at the RV stove making coffee and somehow pulled it off as we swerved and rushed to get ahead of the early morning traffic. We succeeded for sure and after a few hours enjoying the beautiful English country views, we arrived at the ferry for Belgium with an half hour to spare. The gang rushed into town to find some breakfast, gobbled it up and rushed back to head to the harbour.
After our Passport inspection and customs we boarded the big cargo ship with our campers and found that we were pretty much the only people on board for the voyage. We were stoked, we had the whole ship to ourselves and for hours we lounged around like cats watching old kite movies and resting.
Just as we were falling asleep the bartender awoke us saying we are Here! crazy guy. Anyhow we unloaded our vans and driving once again on the right side of the road here in Belgium we headed to the beach to pick up Ian a friend of Chris.
We were starving so we all headed to the Pizzaria across from our Belgium dealer - shop called "Steve's Sk8shop" and we all gourged ourself of Italian food. After a quick esspresso we crossed the road and visited Steve and his brother at their awesome surf, sk8 and kite shop and gave a board presentation while buckets of ice and beers were served around. After meeting the locals and covering all the glass display cases with empty beer bottles we
headed to back to our house to unwind and crash after a super rushed but long day.
