DAYS 44 - 52
After crazy summer trip along whole Europe that lasted almost 2 months Rabbit Gang finally needed some good rest. Huge loop of around 7 000 miles/11 000kms that we travelled in our Rabbit Mobiles around the Old Continent started in Poland and it ends here also. That`s where our campers have their homes, as our European Distribution Center is located here in Poland - the most central point of the Old Continent. But of course not only that is the reason why we are taking the well-deserved rest over here. Hel Peninsula, a famous kitesurfing destination definitely offers a great chill out atmosphere in its real nice green forest scenario. 50 km`s long, huge bay with chest high shallow waters and sandy sea floors offers great flat water conditions when the atmospheric winds finally arrives here. On the other side of the  peninsula there is a wavy Baltic Coast with huge sandy beaches, that offers some hard core cold water conditions when the wind is nuking. This side is good for some workout rather and is not our favorite spot - having home in Maui definitely spoils you a bit ;) , however huge shallow waters of the bay are the incredible location where in the past we even run some kite RnD projects due to the laboratory-alike conditions perfect for testing and comparing prototype kites. As winds here are quite unpredictable and many times, especially in the summer, you have to wait a bit before they arrive, that’s why atmosphere here is pretty relaxed as everybody has to patiently wait to ride. In the meantime kitesurfers hang out, play volleyball, beach soccer, organize BBQs and attend some good parties in the big beach clubs located along the Hel. And so we chilled out here as well for couple days to regain some energy and slowly prepared for our planes to fly back to our homes.
