DAY 9
Today's schedule was to drive all the way to Beauduc in France with a short stop in Monaco for a wild photo session. As we drove and swapped driving duty with sleeping breaks. From time to time we would wake up and notice how beautiful the Italian South is with endless tunnels through mountains and lush green hillsides.
Once in Monaco we were amazed at the amount of Ferrari's & Lamborginis driving by. At one of many toll booths we counted 6 Farrari's. We drove down into the city from the highway above and to the Monte Carlo Casino area where Shaddixx our super artistic photographer did some pictures of new Blunts boards at the famous fountains with Niccolo, Bertrand and Lou.
At the fountains there were many people waiting for the best vantage point to take pictures who would pass through the line of vision so it took a while to get the shots of the boards because we would set them up ready to shoot and a tourist would walk up and admire them constantly. Once Shaddixx got his shots we jumped into the campers, just on time as the Police arrived to give us some smiling shouts. We continued our way to Beauduc.
Its funny but on the road the campers attract way more attention than the expensive cars like Maseratti,Ferrari or Lamborghini. That's probably because crazy Rabbit Mobiles are more rare in this affluent town than the hundreds of exotic cars wizzing by every second.
We drove until 3 am and finally arrived at a famous speed spot at Port Saint Louis. That's where we start heading to WINDYYYY Beaduc with forecasted 30-40 knots tomorrow. It looks like we are finally going to get some serious kiting action and finally give a real try to our new Blunts, that are patiently waiting for real conditions to prove their new, super duty construction. Keep your fingers crossed and come see us at Beaduc...
