DAY 1
After whole first night in the road, traveling through Poland and Czech Republic to our first official stop we are quite tired. The Podersdorf - little village at the big Neusidler Lake in Austria is just 50 km from big old city of Vienna and is a quite nice place with many interesting kiters making this spot like some ocean resort with apparently no ocean :) As we left many good memories here last year the fatigue doesn't matter, fully charged soul batteries give energy to start with good Rabbit power. To be totally efficient on our way (TommyLee style) we visited couple of our factories here and there early a.m.'s - just to let them know big brother is watching and to give some big hug for good job on boards that are done real good. Now we are starting to see the lake from the highway and what is even more nice, we see trees dancing around us. Looks like some 20 knots wind that will make this day a freaking good start, we hope!

What a speedy day, but what a good day! Now everybody is gathering around our campers getting ready for the party. Ronnie our Austrian ambassador took a good care of logistics, that is a fact. DJ's playing live music at the beach, girls dancing already around our Rabbit Mobiles and a full-on bbq prepared by pro-chef brought by Hawaiian Tropic, moisted with alpine clear water delicious beer. Most kiters from the spot are here with us sharing good vibe after a nice day. It was super nice weather and it is nice that kiters here party together like that. Blue sky without a cloud and nice warm 20knot side shore wind made this day a perfect demo-premiere on the 2010Tour. Niccolo and Bertrand rode some sliders and Mike with Lou approved some final final boards just to make sure the arsenal is ready for the mission. Well news are just insane. Boards are as good as protos. It is time to start the celebration as all is good and set. Official open tests are starting. First tries, people love boards just like us. Huge smile inside. Soon we will have global premiers for all those new toys. Lets finish this keg, it is so good especially with even more friends arriving to our little camp. New Blunt looks like the 3D animation and even sweeter than last one, and this new Joke, how sick is this board. Soon you will find out more! :)

DAY 2
Mike and Tommy left to the Vienna airport as planned to finish taking care of big things in the production office and Kamil that gave them ride just came back to us with fresh croissants straight from Vienna. Bertrand and Niccolo do some morning stretching. Lou already on his feet since early morning as he is still jetlaged from Carrabean time. 6h is not as bad as Maui with 12 hours behind which usually guys do, but still no wonder why he wakes up at strange hours :) Maybe he enchanted the weather with his morning walk as today the wind looks even better than yesterday. We know conditions already so this will be a nice day for shooting, more people came from Vienna to see us and demo new gear. In the afternoon we will have the first edition of Jam Session contest. New thing so some running around is expected. Already windy for the Smoke. So lets get wet!

Wow, the Jam Contest at Neusidler lake was a big success. Local kiters really rock here. More than 20 real good riders signed for the game. There was a little mess on the water with so many contenders, but as the session was around 1 hour, everybody could show their bag of tricks! Niccolo was the main judge and carefully studied the scene to choose the winners that deserve the trophies the most. The winner was a local from the other gang with some nice style: Oli Panny. Second place went to Dominik Muller and couple more guys got praises as well! The winner ended up with brand new WH 5'9 Surf Board signed by all Rabbit Proriders. Of course the winner can be only one but it was a good fun for everybody that took part in this session and watched it from the beach.
Now we are slowly packing the bags as the road in front of us is quite long. Couple hundred kilometers to travel overnight once again to reach the lake Garda in Italy.
Definitely Neusidler is a nice spot and whenever you plan to visit Vienna or are passing by make sure to have your kite gear with you and give it couple tacks over here as the atmosphere here is really nice and the slider park made by Unhooked Crew is sweet.
