Deeper in Poole
DAY 29
Today was another morning of raiding for the last of the breakfast before they were closing the kitchen. In the meantime Franz gave couple of smiles to his new groupies who somehow owned his inflatable replica. Then we headed back to HYDR8 shop to meet our real local fans whom gathered around Justin's kite-center to spend some time with us and to chat about life. Around the noon we went with the group of those local charming Rabbits to the beach to search for some wind and set up our demo station. However today was a bit cloudy but a local kite-spot is real nice, a huge shallow bay surrounded by green trees might be the reason why the town was called the pool. The bay is shared by kiters, windsurfers, yachters and big ferries and so it is quite busy but experienced English sailors go well along with each other.
After some scrambling for parking spots we luckily landed just in front of the launching spot. Delicious lunch was already waiting for us in the nearby surfschool, prepared for us by Justin`s Mom. The meal was great and just as we finished the wind was picking up so we quickly set up the demo gear and as fast as Rabbits were being pumped up they were taken out for test drives. It was a light wind so Bosses and Big Mamas were pulling testers on New Blunts and Jokes and Smokes were ridden by our new surf board demoers. The crowd of kiters were stoked to ride and raving about the gear which made us happy. It was not the only sole reason for the grins as the funny crew of King of Water Sports that came down as well was adding a good vibe as well.
The testing was on all day, accompanied by nice music and a jugging football session played on a wide sandy beach. As the sun began to set and the incoming tide stole the soccer playground Justin and WeeMan announced yet another meal to be served back at The Watersports academy spot. After a couple hours of cold beers and awesome Paila dinner we started the British Saturday evening routine and made a fun cruise along most of local pubs to celebrate the weekend.
