Cable session
DAY 13
We quickly woke up and headed to the local kite shop area in the Port of Leucate and had a small breakfast in the nearby café.
After witnessing old people trying to park their cars in tiny parking spots and a few accidents we headed to Calay the ocean spot close by only to find no wind in sight. Dave Britian our good friend and dedicated Rabbit rider in Leucate/La Franqui area, showed up to say hello and to give Lou a Revolution stunt kite as a birthday present. Dave was the inventor of indoor kite flying and has the most advanced kite flying skills any of us have ever witnessed. Basically he could beat you up with a kite like the old wise karate teacher can beat you up with one finger. He helped Lou rig up his new gift and showed him how to fly a little bit in the field nearby with Franz.
The guys were getting antsy to get in the water so one RV went to the cable while the other stayed and played a bit more with the awesome Revolution kite that fly's in just about no wind.
At the cable Nicolo and Bertrand were at it again hitting the sliders with the new Joke board while the photographers and crew got some shots.
Just a quick "famous" french kebab dinner and we are on the road again as the sun was setting to head to Guincho in Portugal which would take some time as it's about 1500 km from Leucate.
Aloha and see you in Portugal.
