The shop is super nice, we had a little breakfast with cheese and red wine while we showed our new gear.
Then we drove to the spot for some really good testing. The wind was light on Lac d’Hourtin but enough to try out Big Mama and the Boss.
Lots of people tried the kites and many of them came back directly to the shop to order them :)

It was a quick visit as the same night we were to head for Portugal but before we actually did, we wanted to see the ocean. We went to Hourtin plage and when Niccolo saw the big dune by the ocean with this on shore wind we decided to see what we could do with Big Mama.
When Niccolo launched the kite and started to go up the dune, we weren’t sure if it was going to work. He waited a bit when he was up there, and then started to run up wind and jumped off the cliff. In 2 seconds Niccolo was in the sky, around 10-15 meter high, and we all got a bit nervous (also because we reminded ourself about his injured foot – its good that Mark didn’t see it). Fortunately Niccolo knew what he was doing and landed all good.
We had real good fun jumping there but after Lucas tried a jump too that’s when we all got a little scared seeing his head down and BigMama kitelooping and decided its time to stop – we need some uninjured Rabbit Gang members as well :)
