CORE AND LAMINATION
The core in the Blunt is made mostly of wood but it also contains some sections moulded with HD PU foam (high density polyurethanefoam). Some addition of the foam in the freeride board's core is generally a good thing as it reduces the rebound of the board a lot and delivers lots of stability, which is never possible with 100% wood core only. Although all the overforced crucial sections of the board such as its center and all the inserts locations are cored with wood. 
The lamination of the Blunt is done using the epoxy resin and the highest quality European fiberglass layers, which effects in the proper stiffness and flex pattern of the board with its special core and which as the combined effect provides super durability against any riding/landing damage!

TOPSHEETS
The surfaces of Blunts are made with durable top sheet materials becasue of which the board will survive a long exposure to the UV rays. Such hi quality finish provides good anti-scratch resistance to the bottom, which has the special matt structure increasing the waterflow characteristics. On the other side the high gloss deck of the board is additionally covered with UV clear coat, which not only provides increased resistance to the sun but also gives it a great visual effect.

SIDEWALL AND TIPS
The sidewall of Blunt is made with ABS, which provides extra durability to the board`s rails. The rail is still rounded though and each board is custom finished in the factory in order to increase the waterflow performance of rails. The tips of the board are shaped in the well known "W" shape, which not only reffers to the brand`s name but also increases the rails`s lenght while shortening the center of the board, which affects in bit softer landings, as the water can release from underneath board`s bottom quicker.

FINS
The Blunt is delivered with the WH Claw fins, of 50mm size (1,97 inches) which is the standard for all Blunt sizes.
This shape of the fins, developed by WH R&D Department, makes them carry minimalized drag and have great gripping ability with good, quick release while jumping. For reducing the width, and as the consequence the drag of the fins, they are mounted with thin 5mm screws.

CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

Naturally, Blunts are made proportionally for different sizes of riders. This, along with the average wind conditions that you normally experience should be your main factor in choosing your size. But, as Blunt boards are quite different from other boards that you might used before, please don't automatically try to copy the size that you rode before.
